What do you need?

Why talk to us early

Three things buyers ask first.

Which palm?

Most açaí in Europe is Euterpe oleracea from Pará. Ours is wild Euterpe precatoria from the western Amazon. In lab studies it showed more anthocyanins and lost fewer of them when heated (Pacheco-Palencia et al. 2009). We will publish our own batch analysis.

Can it be imported?

Honest answer: E. precatoria has no entry in the EU novel-food catalogue yet. We are clarifying its status with the German authority before we ship to the EU. Outside the EU we check each market’s rules with you.

Why freeze-dried?

No carrier: the powder is 100 % açaí pulp and skin. Spray-dried açaí usually needs maltodextrin — Brazilian rules allow down to 20 % açaí solids. Read the spec of any powder you buy.
